Octopus amate problem It’s having issues lately. Leaves are turning quickly from pristine green to more and more yellowing as shown. Had for about a year and this is the first time I’m seeing this over quite a bit of the plant. I’ve seen it occasionally effect one just one petiole but never several at once. Any ideas? It gets consistent humidity, sun, water (checked using a soil meter prior to watering). Had a bunch of scale show up and have manually cleaned them off. I’ve never seen so many turn if it’s just due to scale?

With grow lights I can utilize a lot more of my shelf space 🥰 loving this setup above my (non functional) fireplace!
Hey everyone! I just picked this guy about one week ago. Any advice to keep it healthy and growing? Right now it’s in a window that gets 1.5 hours of direct light maximum in the early morning, and the rest is gentle indirect light (Oregon). Tips and Tricks?
Lowe’s clearance jackpot. Lovely way to start my weekend! 🪴
We had to move during a snowy winter day and many of my plants froze, it’s been a month and they are so much better now. You can notice the parts of the leaves that had survived and the ones that got cauterized by the freeze, however this is an appreciation post for the strength of nature and how he is fighting with new growth in all of the branches! There’s a skinny tall one that was just starting to grow but all of the leaves froze and it’s just branching around the middle part. Should I cut it down around that area? I’m currently waiting for all of those leaves to fall so I can make a move Thank you for any comments, and advices 🌱
Misting day 🪴 it’s so therapeutic watching a dehumidifier.
On leash the chicks Any tips on repotting I would love some advice
Hey there Plant lovers I was wondering if someone knows how long it takes for a split rock to grow 😅
Hello Planta friends, can you help identify this beautiful plant I just got? Planta doesn’t seem to be able to. It comes out as a Golden Photos which it clearly isn’t. Thanks for your help!
Couple of new babies on my money tree 🥰
Please help. My Cordyline has lots of dry tips. I still see new shoots often but can’t seem to make her happy. I water according to this application and she is in a southern facing window.
So, I got this plant a few weeks ago after a cold spell, it was a little bit cold damaged but not bad enough to set the plant back too far. I honestly can't tell if it is a calathea or more of a marantha? I am leaning more toward calathea, but it was labeled as a prayer plant, which I always thought was marantha. In the grand scheme of things, it doesn't really change the care it wants, but I am curious to know what I actually have. Any ideas?
Hey y’all! I got a Lady Valentine over the weekend. Any care tips? Thanks!
Can anyone tell me why my bamboo is yellowing ? I’ve had her for 4 years and no problem 😭 I repotted her yesterday as well as trimmed the yellowing
Pretty new at this plant parenting thing. No one told me how joyful it feels to see new leaves growing! 🥰🪴 I almost want to cry!!!
Yellowing devils ivy. It’s always done so well but I had a lot of yellowing recently and it appeared to be pot bound so I repotted. Still continuing to yellow at the lower leaves. Any advice?
Hi all, I’m looking for advice on my fiddle leaf fig but there’s not really a problem. She was found near the trash around 4 years ago and despite the stress, being a difficult plant and me not being very good she’s surviving and I dare say thriving. However she looks very different than any other fiddle leaf fig I’ve seen (never had any other in my care though). The leafs on the top are getting massive, 18in long and 11 wide while all the leafs at the bottom are all drooping but green. The plant seems in good health so the question is, is there anything I should do or should I just leave her alone? Thanks!
