Please help. My Cordyline has lots of dry tips. I still see new shoots often but can’t seem to make her happy. I water according to this application and she is in a southern facing window.

SunnyCheck it for pests. Use a magnifying glass to check for white cottony debris (mealybugs), white tiny bits with legs (thrips/spider mites) or fine webs on the leaves or between the leaves and stems, especially the newest leaves. I don’t suspect pests though. It could also be a watering issue from strictly following the schedule in the app. The app doesn’t know all the variables in each home that can affect water needs. So, use it as a reminder to check if the plant actually needs water to prevent overwatering/under watering. You may need to water more frequently if the app reminders are occurring long after the soil dries out. 🍀🪴
