I’m super excited about my philo squamiferum… when I got her from the nursery her old leaves showed sign of neglect, now shes about to unfurl 2 new leaves. On the fence of propping her up with a moss pole. What do you think?

In the next few days, I’m going to plant some seeds I brought home from my trip to Arizona. I don’t know what the plants are… but I live in Upstate NY and plan to keep them inside through the winter and keep them potted/inside forever if needed. Should I plant them in starter soil or succulent/cactus soil? Also, I’m going to try planting seeds from my favorite hosta. Any tips on going about that?
I recently repotted this little guy and now it is showing signs of stress. Is this normal after repotting? What should I do different to help him heal?
Never doing Thai basil again 😅 replaced with a dwarf umbrella today (first two pics) since the water hog goes from fine (last pic) to near death (2nd to last pic) despite being watered every other day. Planted him out in a corner of the garden "survival of the fittest" style. 🤣🤣🤣
finally…my “Michelle” is here at last
Babies are loving this winter sun
I decided to try growing some “exotic” palms indoors. On the left, chambeyronia (flamethrower palm). I had this in my old place and it did surprisingly well, although it never threw a red leaf. Maybe two times is a charm? The bismarckia is way bigger than I thought it would be. I thought it would be the size of the chambeyronia! I had to run out and get this 9” pot, I worry that in six months it will need a 30” tub or something 🤣
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! 🦃
Hi everyone! I’ve never had a boat lily before and idk why the leaves are browning like this. It is watered and it’s got some new growth but the older leaves keep dying. Any suggestions?
My Chinese Evergreen is ever growing.
Is this ready to be separated from its mother plant yet?
This plant was doing so poorly. I had it in our shower with a north facing window. I thought it would enjoy the humidity but its leaves became droopy and almost wet like. The soil it was in was hydrophobic. I gave her a repot in quality soil and put her in an East facing window. Within a week of doing this she BLOOMS and starts to push out babies. I'm amazed. Second to Last photo was her two weeks ago.
Love the plants decor 🌱❤️ #spookyplanty
