Any ideas how to make the parlour palm better?

    I would let it dry out as much as possible, and repot it. If the pot is too small, it won’t drain as well even if there is a drainage hole.

    Looks like too much light causing the color to wash out. They don’t like full sunlight. Indirect bright or medium light is more suited. Too much water causing leaf (and roots) damage. I agree with the previous comment to let it dry out. I would check for root damage. You may have to change out the soil to one with more aggregate if it’s drying too slowly. I would repot to the same pot if it’s not root bound. ☘️🪴
