   A few thoughts (and I have two happy ones of these, and also own the pot it’s in in the picture): 1. That pot is MASSIVE for the plant. They’re very demanding (dramatic) because they want to stay moist but HATE getting water-logged 2. Pretty sure that pot doesn’t have drainage. This is similar to #1 but they need a really well-draining soil. Without drainage the plant will die. The yellow leaf tips back this up. They tend to show up when the water pools rather than leaving the pot. 3. They love humidity, so if the other options are totally fine then look at the broader environment. Mine don’t like to put out leaves when humidity drops below 65% or so

   What’s the size of the inner white pot? I’m assuming the white pot has drain holes. Just be sure there is no standing water between the two pots.

   I’ve found that they like warm rooms and indirect sunlight. To be fair they can be pretty difficult to look after if you don’t give it constant attention. Also like the other comments say I think the pot size might be a little large for the size of the plant.

   I agree, the pot looks large. Worth looking at the soil too? When I got mine it came in soil that always seemed dry but actually, was extremely waterlogged at the bottom because they stuck gravel in there 🙄 So I repotted in a new soil mix with the same sized pot and that has done wonders.

   None of the above. These plants go dormant much like a perennial. Once they start looking like this there is no reversing it. Basically you start over,(don’t throw it out) as the leaves die cut them back. After you snip the last one place the rhizome in a chunky soil mix (cocoa coir & perlite, or sphagnum moss & perlite) and use a humidity dome like this. You’ll soon get a whole new, healthier plant but expect it to go dormant again in the future. Usually in the winter when light and temperature drop.

   Thank you all. The pot inside is much smaller (size of a small container for tomato plant or herb from the store) and has lots of drainage. I do use the chunky soil mix, so water logging I don’t believe is the issue here. It puts out new leaves pretty frequently but end up turning yellow as they age. I can try the humidity and see if that helps. Thanks!
