2nd attempt at notching her, last time I did it, I don’t think I cut deep enough and she just kept growing up! I want her to be fuller before getting more height. If this doesn’t work, I might chop her down. Any tips or thoughts? Going to repot soon
I would chop it down and it will grow two new branches from the cut point. Then could grow roots from cut piece and have a new plant!

0개 좋아요 Do you let the stems dry out on the ends before putting them in water? I know some monsteras you do that
0개 좋아요 I haven’t done it with that plant yet, but I would just make sure it doesn’t get overwatered whichever way you do. Also I’d make sure the plant was watered recently before the chop so the top part that is cut off isn’t thirsty since it won’t have roots for a bit.
