    There is a chance you’re overwatering this. These do tend to spread out — it’s normal. They need a LOT of light to thrive, and very dry dry dryyy conditions.

      Should I let the soil completely dry out before next watering ?

      The soil should always *always* be bone dry before watering. In fact, I would let it go bone dry and then wait another day or so. This is how I treat mine. Zz is native to extremely arid conditions in Africa. It grows from big rhizomes (look like potatoes) in the soil where they store nutrients and water. Your plant should be tapping into those stores before watering again — too much water and those rhizomes will rot

    All plants lean to the light, you have nothing to worry about, just rotate it every few days! ( 3
