Can peace lilies become variegated?? Mine just popped out a half lime green/ half dark green leaf!!

    There are indeed variegated peace lilies out there, so it could be a spontaneous mutation. Cool!

    Newer leaves on plants will be a lighter green than the rest! Over time it will become a darker green. If this was a variegated peace lily (diamond peace lily) it would have small spots and parts that are white or significantly lighter in color. Hope this helps :)

      I’m a bit unsure though because this is also a new leaf on the same plant. While it is slightly lighter in color and shinier than older leaves, the coloration isn’t dramatically different on each side of the leaf like it is on the leaf I posted about. I guess time will tell if the other leaf’s coloration evens out as it ages
