Why is my prayer plant unhappy? It's got crispy tips but at the same time it's currently working on at least 5 new leaves.

    these guys usually get crispy when the air is dry 🤷🏻‍♀️

    Crispy tips like that are normal. To prevent them, increase humidity and water with distilled water.

    If the tip of the leaves are crispy, it’s likely because you are watering it with tap water which has too much minerals. Prayer plants need distilled water and can’t handle water with minerals very well. Tap water will kill it slowly over time, unfortunately. On the other hand, if the adjacent edges of the leaves are crispy, that is likely a sign of under watering and/or low humidity.
