I just noticed that my snake plant finally bloomed!! I posted some days ago that it started to grow a stalk and had no idea they could do it at all. (I attached that initial photo too in case y’all missed it.) The flowers smell like what I remember big red gum tasting like. Which is probably an American thing only, but I don’t know how to really describe it… Maybe a spicy cinnamon with a tiny hint of vanilla? I’ll try to post a nicer photo in the morning. How exciting!
Wow, that is so cool. I’ve had one for two years and it is doing good but I’ve never seen this!
좋아요 1개 Apparently it’s pretty rare for them to bloom indoors. I think they happen through neglect honestly, hahaha! I have had a few snake plants, my oldest being about 5 years old. This is maybe 3, in a hard to reach corner under a grow light and a small pot and I water once a month.
