My first alocasia! Any tips would be super helpful. I really donโt want her to perish under my care ๐

Congrats on your new beauty ๐ฅฐ This is a Regal Shield which in my opinion is one of the easiest Alocasia, so you picked a good one to start with ๐ Alocasia thrive on consistency. Make sure you water before it fully dries up as it prefers to stay moist, but not wet. They like a chunky aroid soil mix but with components that retain moisture. My preferred soil recipe for Alocasia is about 40% FF Ocean Forest soil, 20% perlite/pumice, 20% bark, 10% charcoal and 10% worm castings. I add Osmocote to the soil AND water with the maintenance dose of Dyna Gro Foliage Pro with every watering. I also add a couple drops of super thrive to my water. Make sure you give her bright indirect light - some direct light in the morning (east window) is good too. Alocasias like to be snug in their pots so donโt repot unless absolutely necessary (whenever they are pretty rootbound). When you do repot, try to only go up 1-2 inches. Hope that helps ๐

3๊ฐ ์ข์์Hey there Iโm hopping on here .. one of mine has a yellow leaf .. should I cut it off at the stem ?

Yes, cut it off at the very bottom of the stem UNLESS it is the newest leaf since if it is the newest, you need to cut above from where the new leaf will emerge.
