My Crassula Mesembryanthoides, which is grown indoors, is starting to flower. Is this normal? I read somewhere that indoor succulents rarely flower.

Are you keeping by a well lit window?

Just recently moved him closer to the window. I have grow lights on them as well, I think I now have 27 plants, but unfortunately I don’t think he was getting as much light as I thought he was due to other plants possibly being in the way. He’s a bit stretched isn’t he?? I also just ordered another grow light as well as another small plant (exact same type) to plant on the other side of its pot. I noticed that it is very close to being unbalanced. One side is much heavier than the other. Any suggestions? Thank you!

How’s the plant doing with another grow light? Also, how long have you had this succulent? Flowing could show that the plant is actually fully matured, which is good but I would recommend propagating this plant because it will start to die out now. He looks happy though! I wouldn’t worry too much about him being unbalanced. He’s stretching towards light that’s for sure. I would just make sure the new light is giving him enough light or put him closer to a window. If he is too heavy for his pot, repot or put heavy rocks on the top to balance.
