I received this zebrina in the mail today. I think it is stunning and healthy, but possibly because of shipping itâs drooping over. Should I maybe use a stick and plant Velcro tape to help it stand up better? I have some sticks from previous orchids.
Variegated camouflage alocasia đ Just wanted to share this new baby I got
Help! I bought this plant last week at the store. It was sopping wet when I bought her and decided I would let her dry out a bit before repotting. I like to give my plants some time to acclimate before repotting or changing soil however last night u noticed a lot of flaking, yellow/browning of leaves. No soft stems or anything she has two new leafs and a pup that look alright but I noticed some brown spots even on the new leaves that are unfurling which I figured arenât supposed to be there. I am pretty good with my frydek however this is my first Polly and never encountered anything like this with my frydek. Any advice and tips are appreciated! Thank u all in advance đ
Happy Monday, starting the week with a big new leaf!
My happy large child
Help! Just bought an Alocasia Regal Shield and Iâve already lost one leaf to spreading purple blotches and now another leaf has them! What is wrong with my plant?
I got this new green dragon scale Alocasia in the mail today. The full leaves are gorgeous, but a new leaf that was unfurling in transit didnât fare so well. Do you think I should leave it or remove it? I wasnât sure if it hurts a plant a lot to cut off a new leaf.
It gave me a new leaf, but at a sacrifice lol snip snip time haha P.s. the other leaves have already turned their backs on him. Thank you for joining my Ted talk haha
Not a fancy alocasia but my Polly is doing so well. Or at least I think so. Eleven leaves out and seven leaves or shoots coming out of the soil. A couple are behind the bigger leaves. Itâs the only one still in soil. I have five in semi hydro.
After an end of summer shedding + spider mite over treatment with neem, we are back to pushing out big variegated leaves.
I got this a few months ago on the anniversary of my mom passing. Her name is Suzi đ. Looks healthy and happy just ZERO growth. Not even trying to put out a new leaf. Am I being impatient? Is pot too big for her? Appreciate any thoughts. Thanks! đ
Iâm pretty new to alocasia plants. Is this droopy leaf dying? Should I prop it up? Cut it off?
The unfurling begins!! I think this is going to be a big one đż
2 new alocasia leaves! One is the Dragon Scale and the other is the mint variegated Dragon Scale
Where we started in August and where we are now. My first time so Iâm very proud of myself. Even gave me the confidence to try tissue cultures đ
Itâs been a week since repotting my alocasia in the layer method - first leca, then moss, then chunky soil, then moss on top. I was worried with how they would do but they are looking fantastic.
