Hi, what would cause this yellowing? I have 3 leaves doing this, photographed. It has just put out two much larger healthier leaves, is this just cycling? Thank you

YAAAYY!!! after several months of waiting for these corms to grow roots, not only have they grown many roots, but also LEAVES!!! THREE of my corms so far have leaves popping out and five of them have roots (including the three with leaves). i can officially say i’ve grown alocasias from their corms!!! im actually so hyped up this is so exciting 😭😭🙏

Is my Alocasia Polly a goner? It has continued to drop leaves so I’m going to try a new location (couple feet away from an east facing window). Afraid to overwater (following the apps suggested watering but the soil is dry again several days early according to my moisture detector). Any and all recommendations welcome.

I tried to put my Alocasia polly in a semi-hydro setup and gave her root rot 🤦🏼‍♀️ Oops. Can someone help me understand how to use a semi-hydro setup without repeating the same mistake? Any resources such a youtube videos diving into this topic would also be greatly appreciated. I used a diy lechuza pon recipe but am open to other options. She was living in my greenhouse cabinet where it got 12 hours of light each day. I did wash the roots clean before transferring to semi-hydro so there wasn’t any soil on them. My specific questions are: 1.) How do you know when to water again and how much water to provide? 2.) Do you follow the same rule of thumb for sizing a planter for a semi-hydro setup as you do for soil/potting mix (i.e about 1-2 inches bigger than the root ball)? 3.) What medium do you like to use and why? Thanks in advance!

The new leaf on my dragon scale is open. It’s the most stunning leaf I’ve ever had on my plants. Also, I had a question about my mint dragon scale. A beautiful new leaf was growing in and started to unfurl before it had fully pushed out from where it forms. It got stuck and was trying to unfurl but couldn’t. I tried to help get it out but unfortunately broke it off. I was so mad at myself. Has anyone ever had that happen? Should I have left it alone? Would it eventually have been able to get unstuck on its own? Will it be able to grow new leafs? Update: I can see a new leaf starting in the Mint Dragon Scale so I’m ver relieved that it should be ok!

I repotted my Polly today and found so many presents! What on earth do I do with them? The tiny one up top is from my Caladium (Hilo) but all the big ones are from the Polly 😍😍😍 help!

Help! I’ve had this Polly for 2 months (lost some smaller after I first got it) and still haven’t gotten the hang of things. The other leaves are okay right now but this is the first big leaf to get upset.
