It originally had 3 leaves. Dropped down to one. It was doing great, got a new leaf, and bam! The stem is still firm. Normal alocasia thing?

uh oh. Did I plant the corm upside down?? And if so, should I plant it back the same way? I have about 10 or 15 corms from different Alocasias in grow boxes n haven’t seen something like this yet.. This guy went into a large clear medicine bottle to grow more because of the roots being so long, I just planted it roots side down - now it’s got a little tail (or neck maybe?) making me second guess myself 🤣 Thoughts, comments, feelings below thank you:)

I just got this Alocasia from Harris Teeter a few days ago She was worse for wear but seems to not be worsening, which is nice I thought she was a dragon scale but she doesn’t have those maroon veins on the under leaf I hear about Is it just because she’s young or unhealthy? Or is she something else? I’ve tried looking around and not many other types I’ve seen have really sounded like her The tag only brought me to a site with many plants, the only two looking like here was the Silver dragon and the Dragonscale

Local greenhouse got her in a bulk ship with no label, just an Alocasia. I believe it's a Cuprea, Red Secret....correct me if Im wrong.
