Just picked up two baby alocasias!! One has had a restart from being a mother plant and the seller rescued from rot. And the other has been growing from a corm. Any tips for these two babies would be appreciated! I’ve never used semi hydro mix before Going to buy a humidifier tomorrow - debating on a grow light as there’s no where really to put one!!

Does anyone know what plant this is? I thought it was part of the alocasia family and i took a few cuttings from outside and tried to keep them in some water inside and they’re dying and not growing roots. can it not grow inside?

I'm being gaslit into thinking that these white spots are dust, mineral buildup or natural leaf coloration instead of pests, and I need to confirm with the council again. Its so tiring to find these spots again after trying so much stuff. TIA!

This is the Pink Dragon that I brought home in December. It has held onto this one leaf until yesterday when I noticed it was starting to yellow. The roots still look really healthy. My question is, how do I know if my plant is dying vs. going dormant? I know that alocasias also tend to “cycle” when adjusting to a new home. Could that be what’s going on here? Let me know what you think!

Sooo… my acacia frydek gave me 3 corms! I’m gonna try my hand at growing these. Any tips would be amazing! This is the first time I’ve attempted this. They are currently under a grow light in a glass container with spag moss and a small amount of water and plastic wrap over it.
