My first successful corm prop! I feel like a new mommy lol only thing is I didnât label it soooo based on the stem color it could be my pink dragon / princess not sure which or if they are the same or it could be my purpley or Polly đ based on the underside with the purple prob the last 2?

My stingray opened THE most beautiful leaf this weekend!
My first alocasia ever! (Also have a baby silver dragon - got around the same time, bottom left in cup of loss). After a year of mastering all manner of houseplants except calatheas and alocasias⊠I finally took the plunge and got this one at Loweâs because she looked amazing. I repotted her and split her up after a couple weeks of having her⊠putting one in LECA and one in a super airy tropical mix. They are next to a humidifier that is set to 60% humidity and I have been spritzing all my plants once a weekâŠ. Sheâs under a grow light (not directly but pointed at her) on the second to lowest light setting because Iâve read not super direct light. I also only use distilled water. Any other advice for a first time alocasia mom?
Newest leaf! so excited Iâve managed kept this baby alocasia alive
Hi all, My elephant ear seems in great shape and getting big but thereâs the two older leaves that have gone very wide and open. Is there anything I should be doing or is it normal? Thanks!
So excited I finally made this jump!
Iâm still pretty new to Alocasia, does anyone have any suggestions on how to clean Frydek leaves? I just got this starter plant from TheGreenEscape on Etsy and it looks like it has some water stains on it.
Hi everyone! I just wanted to share an update on my lovely Alocasia YucatĂĄn Princess! đż She has been such a joy to care for. I bought her last fall, and after a cozy winter acclimating to my home, she surprised me this spring with two stunning new leaves. I started fertilizing her as the weather warmed up, and it really seems to have done the trick. The new leaves are vibrant and lush, adding so much beauty to my space. I'm hopeful she'll keep thriving and give me even more gorgeous leaves as we move into summer. Has anyone else had similar experiences with their Alocasia? Would love to hear your tips and stories! Happy growing! đ©âđŸđȘŽ
my elephant ear alocasia is starting to get some brown and yellow spots on its leaves, one is worse than the rest and its stem isnât as firm as the others. i think it might be due to the fact it needs a repot, some of the roots are sticking out the bottom of the pot and i can see some on the top of the soil. I water it once a week so i donât think im under watering it and itâs placed in perfect sun. I just want to hear some opinions on how i can help it
My maharani is putting out bloom after bloom and i didnât catch these before they were almost done so Iâm just letting them go for it but oof. I wish I could tell it that there arenât any pollinators in my cabinet (that I know of)
Potted these babies up today đ±âš
I need major help with my pink dragon alocasia đ„Č ever since Iâve gotten her, sheâs slowly started having her leaves droop and turn yellow, idk what she needs!! Iâm going to cut the yellow leaves off, but sheâs potted in leca, sheâs placed in my little greenhouse with high humidity, and she has grow lights directed towards her. Please help đ„č
My Alocasiaâs sprung this spring đ«
Hi everyone! I am pretty new to plants and I have this Alocasia that I think I need some help with. I got her last week, her name is Barbara. Still in her nursery pot, there aren't any roots coming out the bottom so I don't think I need to repot. But one of her leaves is brown and smaller than the rest, and I was wondering if anyone could give me tips? Otherwise she has two healthy looking leaves, and a new one coming in.
I got her. â€ïž
My alocasia dawn pushed out an all white-ish leaf! I think itâs cool, but should I be worried Cornelius is telling me heâs gonna die?
Hi all, When growing your Corms, do you keep them open to the air or covered to retain moisture? The ones I had covered with a grow dome were showing signs of mold so I took the lids off & wiped away the mold. Since then Iâve seen no change or progress. All guidance appreciated đ€
Iâm so happy with my beautiful elephant ear! Iâve had it nearly a year and itâs gone from three leaves to six đ
