Do I need to cut off leaves that look like this? The nursery overwatered them and now they are in pon. Just trying to figure out how to fix it. Should I separate from other plants? Not sure if this is a fungal issue but it seems like it.

Hello, Iâm new to Alocasias I got this frydek about two months ago maybe 2.5 months ago. Sheâs gotten taller and her largest leaf unfortunately died off hence the tiny nub cut off by the base of the stem. She was under a red plant light. But that isnât helping her anymore. I donât have a humidifier, Iâm trying to find a nice affordable one. I put her by south west facing window where thereâs tons of sun. How can I help her be happier and healthier?! They have become my new favourite plant and I donât want to lose her. Iâd love to take care of all the different kinds of alocasias! Please share any tips!

Hi! I recently got this alocasia and im wondering what soil is best for it? I think its just in normal potting mix/soil that it came with! tia :)

Any idea as to why this is happening. I got 2 from a nursery about a week ago. They both look like this and they are both in two different spots getting lots of humidity. They are both 3-4 feet away from a window no direct light. This one hasnât been watered by me since I got it. The other one I have watered and the next day it looked like this as well. Looks like this is getting worse by the day. I have a grow light on as well for 3 hours.

I grew a corm in horticultural substrate. It literally is thriving. It recently just started growing its third leaf. When should I switch to soil or should I keep it in the substrate or possibly pon?

I have an alocasia silver dragon and the tip on one of the leaves is dry but the leaves arenât yellowing. Could this be a humidity issue? .

Iâm looking for a second opinion on identifying this Alocasia. Planta scan says Azlanii but Iâve known it to be wrong before.

Iâve had my alocasia camouflage for over a month and nothing is happening. It was putting out a new leaf when I bought it so the smaller leaves have died off, but I havenât gotten a new growth point since. The new leaf unfurled within the first week of having it. The roots look really healthy, itâs right next to the humidifier, and sits in a south facing window (with blinds). Has anyone experienced the same?
