What’s wrong with my Alocasia dragon scale? Some spots are starting to get yellow and it is also getting a bit crispy. I mist her everyday and she gets bright indirect light. I also don’t let her dry out a-lot because I know they aren’t a fan of that. She does have a new leaf coming up so maybe this old leaf is just dying? TIA!!!

If not root rot, then worth looking at misting less. I have two dragon scales and they don’t like to have water hanging out on their leaves. I mist once a week but in summer (in the UK) they do well at about 60% humidity. I do also have a couple of humidifiers which are great for when it’s dry, or in winter. Worth investing in one if your air is super dry, vs misting every day.
