I got this alocasia yesterday and I was wondering if anyone has any tips about this plant? it’s my first one.

    Mist it! Mist it when ever u have a feeling of wanting to water it! And get a moisture meter it is very helpful to not overwater it and put it in a pot with drainage. When Repotting ask the person at a plant nursery about what kind of soil or planning method would be best! Hope that was helpful! I have had mine for 4 months now and I have lost no leaves and that’s what helped me also I put mine next to my desk not that far from the window on the wall directly across from the window.

      omg the worst thing happened the new leaf you see in the picture it grew up but this morning the stem was soft and mushy and bent in half i tried to help it stay upright but it was mushy it broke right off! do you have any idea what happened?!?

      No I don’t have any idea 😐 hmmmmm sometimes with that plant moving it makes it lose a leaf mine did lose it’s smallest one but it grew a new one it it’s place but idk what happened to yours

      It could be that we have different light levels at our desks. U could replace your lightbulb with a grow light.
