Just wanted to show you guys my pretty frydek. I was actually almost killing her because I totally took on a plant I didnā€™t know how to care for ā€¦ but Iā€™ve been giving her lots of tlc and now she keeps giving me new growth! šŸ˜

    Ok whatā€™s your secret? I can only get mine to keep 2-3 leaves at a timeā€¦

      I make sure she gets enough light during the day at least 10-12 hours if you have yours by the window use a grow light in the evening for another 4 hours especially in winter. Soil should be moist. Mine doesnā€™t like getting too dry so I keep her moist.. I turn the humidifier every other day I donā€™t like it everyday because I keep them on for a good 4-5 hours. I also fertilize once a month ..

    I want to know how you keep them alive because I killed my first one and just bought one yesterday.

      So they do acclimate and that tends to stress them at least that was happening to mine when I first got her she just kept dropping leaves ā€¦ once you have a spot for her keep it and try not to move her muchā€¦ humidity is key for them they love it. I set mine up every other day for 4-5 hours a day usually in the evening thatā€™s when my house is driest. Iā€™d recommend getting a humidity meter to check .. you can get them on amazon. Fertilizer once a month and keep their soil moist .. water every 2 weeks I donā€™t let the soil dry all the way I keep it moist. Iā€™ve learned a grow light also helps a lot make sure itā€™s full spectrum
