SpringvisionThat is gorgeous. Your polly is beautiful also. I have a polly and it has not grown one leaf since I've had it! Six months now. What is your secret?

Oh I see! Well.... I can say that my Polly didn't do much at first, it did take a pause after I got her home and repotted.... With the shift in weather the trend has shifted towards more frequent leaf growth but still not the most aggressive, a little more at her own pace taking pauses. Jacklyn even more fickle! For me, with Polly I gave her a very fluffy airy blend.... I water a little more than the app suggests only because it seems to dry out more quickly, the pot is frequently very light sooner than I expect. I never give direct rays but I get it as close to direct as I can. That's about it really, I've had to top dress a few times too which I enjoy doing as it works into the surface blend. I would say though it definitely took a few months before Polly had interest in growing new leaves and didn't even finish unfurling some of her leaves! Took time to be comfortable. This winter I will definitely use my radiator and growlights. Oh and humidity I measure the humidity all day everyday. I use a humidifier on dry days especially when I'm gone to give a boost. This helps the leaves too keep pushing and unfurling.

Amie206Are you fertilizing? Alocasias are heavy feeders. During the growing season I fertilize with every watering at about 3/4 strength.
