so i want to transfer my alocasia over to leca as i’ve been having trouble keeping her happy. i want to get this pot because it has the option to hang. i’m looking for input on the self watering feature though, should i pot in leca in the white insert and keep water level below the pot? or should i scrap that and just use the clear plastic? or is it a bad idea all together to use plastic😅i’m new to alocasias this is my first one and i’ve been able to keep her alive but she isn’t thriving. soo i guess should i get this pot or just use a glass vase?

honestly doesn’t seem like a bad idea considering you can see through it, but on the other hand plants can get stressed when roots are exposed to sunlight (phototropism).

I have the green ones and I love them! I have the small 4” & large 6” for my Silver inch plants and ferns anything that likes water 💦
