Do you guys think that I can use “Edna's best potting soil” (indoor and outdoor) to repot my alocasia silver dragon? Btw got this baby plant for $4 at Trader Joe’s!

Looks like it would be too dense, but if you mixed in orchid bark, pumice, and/or perlite, it would be great. I would use roughly half potting soil for these guys
6 Mi piaceThank you! I added pebbles and hopefully that helps with aeration 😂 I had a hunch this would hold onto too much moisture for this guy
0 Mi piaceLike previous person make it more chunky and airy otherwise you will end up rotting it’s roots
1 mi piacePebbles can be too heavy still and no airy enough perlite and orchid bark is the best way to go especially for alocasias
