I didn’t have the same luck switching my black velvet and silver dragon to semi hydro sadly 😔 but I’m glad this one is going strong!

Hmmmmm - maybe it’s time to buy another Polly! I just switched my Bisma to leca - she’s doing great as well! I’m on my THIRD Sulawesi. Gonna try pon. She’s still acclimating to my house - but SOON!

Looks amazing! I recently put my Polly in Leca and its one lone leaf is yellow and dying. I see the start of water roots and the very beginnings of a new stem but tbh, I feel like I don’t know what the hell I’m doing when it comes to Leca. 😩 I need to spend a few hours watching YouTube videos but it’s hard to find the time. My Polly and Dragon Scale are both in Leca only because they were decompensating in soil and I was afraid I was going to lose them. My Pink Dragon and Black Velvet are both thriving in soil. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Idk why I keep buying these plants?! It must be the challenge. Oh, and they’re GORGEOUS!!

I know I love alocasias now! Even if they can be finicky they look so cool the leca queen on YouTube has a bunch of good videos I watch her even though I do a diy pon and do some additional research good luck with your alocasia babies!
