This plant seemed to be very happy until today… very sudden drooping! The newest leaf / stem (the one in front, facing the camera) was more upright like the other two until today. I water when the soil is pretty much dried out, not sure if I’ve ever fertilized yet (bought it in the last month or two), and it always sits here by the window which gets direct sunlight a few hours a day. Is this normal giant alocasia behavior or is something maybe wrong?
P.S. No sign of pests

Mine is doing that too. I put it in a room with a humidifier to see if that makes a difference. I’ll let you know.
1 mi piace Erin this is the leaf that was hanging low. After 2 days with humidifier it popped back up!

If there’s no direct light above it, the new leaf grew in to face your light source (the light shining off that leaf).
0 Mi piaceUpdate: next morning, no more drooping. So never mind? Lol my only idea is that maybe it got too cold in my apartment yesterday with windows open in October. We finally turned the heat on this morning.
