I bought this beautiful girl today and I was wondering if anyone thought she might need to be staked for support or if I should just leave her? The 4 big top leaves are doing great but there’s two at the bottom that are looking a little droopy.
Mine eventually start to droop right around the time a new shoot is coming out. I let them droop for a bit and then when they start turning color I cut them off. And the cycle continues. Each of my two “trunks” will have 2-3 leaves on it a time. The new shoots typically stand up straighter naturally. It’s done this for the 2.5 years I’ve had it. I tried staking it a couple times but it never looked quite right.

I have the same plant (Fred) just got him Saturday. I’m following for support because he’s so dramatic and droopy
