I have a relatively small dragon scale Alocasia. It had five good leaves on it. My cat ripped off two leaves from the top of the stem. The stems are still intact. Will it regrow leaves at the top of the stems or should I cut them down to the base to have them regrow?
Leave them to see if a new leaf develops from one of those stems.

They will not. Clip them back, and it will hopefully encourage the growth of new petioles

Does this apply to a Jaclyn too?
1 gilla There are very few plants that I know of that will regrow a leaf from a damaged stem.
