rescued this alocasia polly (it was dark green when i first found it) from my friends front yard. the leaf isn't looking good so i took it from the soil and am just placing it in water for the time being. any tips of what i should do i want it to survive but i have no clue how to take care of it 🥲

Alocasias can be tricky but if you’re into semi-hydro, they do really well in pon. They need airflow but also constant access to water. I’ve heard people also have luck with chunky aroid mix with a self-watering pot for these guys

Healthy root!! I’d chop the leaf once you put it in whatever soil! Thats just personally. It’ll focus on strong roots and push new growth in no time I bet!
