Hey guys! Any ideas of whatâs going on with my Alocasia? Or any advice about this? I found one of his leaves like this recently and he also had a new one that died the other day too. Heâs also leaning over to the side a little bit, I wasnât sure if it was because heâs sick or just leaning towards the light. He uses a grow light instead of natural. But Iâm not sure whatâs going on or how to fix this.
Looks dry. Are you misting it regularly?

Misting alocasias wonât help with humidity and in Pollyâs, it can introduce fungal leaf spot infections. To me, this looks like an old leaf. You can just pull it off. I trim mine very regularly and it grows more. (I just cut off 4 more leaves that started to droop)
Really? I had one die and tried a new approach with mine and itâs thriving. That includes misting with rainwater every few days. Arenât plants nuts? đ

I would cut it off, re pot the remainder of the plant into soil mixed with perlite and water a little. I just did the same today. Mine was never repotted when I brought her home in Aug-Sept.
