She seems to be thriving since I took her out of the nursery soil and put her in only Fluval stratum! Her roots look healthy! This is just a glass bowl from Michael’s, no drainage.. and only fill with distilled water up to the bottom of her roots.

    I switched her to stratum a month ago, and she did not drop a single leaf. I’m thinking I’m in love with stratum now.

    I just love this plant so much. I have a hard time not rescuing them every time I see one looking sad at a grocery store. Mine is growing in a kind of dense tropical soil mix I’d love to switch it even though it’s doing fine- do you have to treat it like hydro/semi hydro?

      From the couple of people I talked too about Fluval stratum, it has nutrients in it, so the mother plant only gets distilled water, but the pup I pulled off of her I put in Fluval and added the purived plant food to the water… so gonna test and see if there’s a difference
