Can anyone tell me if I should be concerned about these spots??

Is this a new leaf or the oldest one? I would check for root rot or spider mites if it’s not the oldest. If it is the oldest, I wouldn’t worry that sometimes just happens

If the browning/yellowing occurs EXCLUSIVELY on the tips, it’s due to lack of humidity 90% of times. My usual recommendation: a digital hygrometer. Most Alo species need 45% - 70% humidity.

I recently bought the same or similar plant and a similar spot showed up (see photo). I assumed a lack of humidity and bought a humidifier. I’m hoping that will at least save the rest of the leaf. I only have 3 small leaves so it shouldn’t be dropping any from any “life cycle.” I’m in Utah and the typical humidity in my living room is in the 20’s (way low). I’m looking to buy some kind of tent fixture to put over a set of wire shelves to better maintain the added humidity. I will also experiment with other methods, because I suspect that with a humidifier in a closed environment it may be hard to keep from pushing the humidity too high. I’ll look into one of those Govee humidifiers too. Perhaps the added functions can better control the environment than a typical humidifier. Otherwise it may be trays of rocks and water. Moving forward, I’ll have this app with me when considering any new purchases so that I know I have the right conditions already set up or not.

The app I mentioned is “Planta”

I do the same with the app.. I’m in TX, average humidity in my house is between 40-50. I have 2 humidifiers and when humidity goes below 45 I turn them on. The plant in question has been moved closer to the humidifier.. hopefully I can save the leave if I snip off the brown spots

Good luck! I’ll report back on what mine does.
