Here for the info also cuz I need to know 😆
1 gillaHaha, same here. Mine always just get moldy and die.
2 gillningarI waited till mine put a leaf out then moved to soil. If you’ve had them in a closed container you can start to uncover them more and more over time to acclimate them to regular humidity.
1 gillaDitto Danii's comment. I kept them covered and let the roots grow more and just sprawl. As they did, the height of that first leaf started growing. When I could see the tip of the leaf start to pop out more, I took the lid off and just made sure the fluval was moist. I had 12 Amazonica corms....it has been a waiting game as it took 7.5 weeks for me to even start seeing the roots take off on 4 corms. 🫣 The other 7 are still covered but FINALLY growing roots and leaves. Here is what the first batch looked like when the leaves almost completely unfurled. They are now in soil and we'll see how they transition. SO FUN! 😊
1 gillaI am such a believer in fluval these days- I’ve tried so many times to get corms to sprout and I think the fluval was the missing link lol
1 gillaYeah...the corms were originally in perlite, but the algae bugs me. LOL! I switched them to fluval half way through. It was still a waiting game, but now it's so exciting to watch! I have ONE silver dragon corm that is growing before putting down roots (the mother plant is dead). My 2 Azlanii premature corms that I didn't think were gonna make it are also starting to do SOMEthing.....too early to tell what, though. LOL! Have fun!!!! 🥳
1 gillaI swear by fluval I had corms sitting for a few months with no action at all until I put them in Fluval and all of a sudden they look off growing!
2 gillningarSomething special about fluval.....😎🩷
1 gillaAbsolutely Agree
