Hello everyone! I’m new here and felt like I needed more help from people who also had philodendrons 🤣❤️ this is my first plant baby named Chi! Here’s a before and after photo so far. I’ve been trying to take care of her based on my own research but so far I think it’s been massive progress. I hope that I can learn more from you all on this journey! 💚

For those of you with philodendrons & similar trailing plants, how do you water them once they’ve grown to a point where you’ve perhaps anchored their long stems/aerial roots to your wall or other objects? I’m concerned about not being able to water them properly if I can’t do it in the kitchen sink, and don’t want to risk getting water everywhere if the drip tray overflows. Do you just water in smaller amounts and more frequently?

Can anyone help me ID this guy? I think it was mislabeled as a white wizard. Love it either way.

Found a Florida green with some variegation at Home Depot! Wondering if anyone has any guesses about how stable the variegation will be.

@plantyann Hey, checking back up on your watering tip, I just checked on my monstera and attached the pic below, is she ready for another drink or does she still need longer to dry out. Your watering tips have been AMAZING, thank you so much!!!

I was wondering if anyone could help me. My pink princess is doing okay but not great. Every new leaf she grows comes out damaged in some way. Either with holes or a brown crispy tip. I’m not sure what to do.

I’ve had my pink princess and white knight about 10 months now and they’ve been so happy, but suddenly their new leaves are coming out all tattered and almost chewed up looking before they even unfurl. They’re on pebble trays and I mist regularly so I don’t think they’re too dry. Anyone know what this is?? 😵‍💫

I want in on the Birkins trend!! My baby just had a baby recently. 😍 I love this plant soooo much.

Adding to the string of Birkin posts here. I got this one about a month or so ago and the soil was SOAKED when I brought it home. I quickly replanted into fresh soil. It wasn’t getting any better and Dr. Planta said it needed more light. I moved it to a grow light about 2 weeks ago and nothing is helping. Can I salvage this plant or is it a goner?

I just picked this up from Kroger. I believe it is a Birkin? There was no label.. Should I just clip the dead leaves at the base?

This is my first plant. It was given to me as a gift for Christmas. What do I do with the leaf that’s brown? Also watered it for the first time and some water came out the bomb not a lot barely any. any advice?

Picked up this pretty lady a couple of days ago. Her leaves are curled and I cannot for the life of me remember if they were like that when I bought her. I don’t have any experience with the Birkin so not sure if this is normal. Any ideas or tips would be appreciated!! (I just misted her so her leaves look wet)
