The newest leaf on my philo birkin never actually came out and rotted in place, along with the petiole which turned brown and broke off easily. Any idea why? And what should I do about it?

hi! normally i kill every plant i touch but this one has been growing and producing new leaves in my care so i just wanted to post and celebrate ❤️ (don’t worry, normally it hangs up well out of the way of my sweet boy. i just sat her there for the picture 🥰)
my philodendron hope has had a few of the bigger older leaves become very mushy at the slightest touch..i’ve cut back on watering and moved to a place with a bit more sun…any suggestions or is this a common thing with the older leaves?
I’m so excited for this little guy. Finally got the baby Red Anderson I have been wanting for a while 🥹
My beautiful painted lady 😊 any tips for growing in leca?
Hi! I’ve had my white Princess for about a month - first philodendron. The white leaves have started to brown and curl. Can anyone tell me why this might be or what to do? I’ve heard you should prune any white leaves but unsure if that’s true… advice much appreciated
My Bird of Paradise and Philodendron (and fur baby) living their best life!
I posted about my PPP recently and how I couldn’t get her to thrive in soil. So a few weeks ago I washed her roots real good and moved her to water. Today I realized I have two teeny tiny growth points, the little leaf looks a little rough, but she is putting in work lol
MY NEW BABY (that i placed the order for just a few days before my partner revealed to me that my six month anniversary present was a pink princess heheheheh oops)
Hello fellow plant people. I could use a 2nd set of eyes to ID these “dean McDowell”s. I ordered 1 from 2 separate vendors on Etsy and they’re so small I can’t confirm the distinguishing features. I’m thinking I got swindled and these are pastaziums instead. I can’t see the white lines on the stems well enough yet. I don’t see a ring where the leaf and the stem meet. I will say for at least one of them, I do see a reddish tinted sheath but it doesn’t look like the pictures I have seen of deans. Both have a silvery look to the backside… :( your two cents is appreciated
the process of a new leaf opening on my ppp, and another one is on the way! 😆😆😆😆😆😆
Just got this moonlight for 50% off 😍😇🪴
Acquired myself a philo splendid 😍😩
Favorite. Philodendron. Yet! I mean, guess depending on it’s demand level, just received this plant today.. but at least as far as looks, this one’s stellar!
My newest ❤️🔥Ring of Fire!
This is Lucy, one of my Philos. Two of her newer leaves have gone yellow. I’ve been following the watering instructions in Planta, which is watering every 9 days. She is in a south-facing plant window. Is it maybe too bright?
My philo Brandi has this new leaf that is like, somehow twisted in/through an existing leaf. It’s been like this for a while. Would you just leave it and see what happens or should I try to release it somehow? I can’t even really tell where the petiole ends and the stem/leaf begins 🤔
