Crocodile philo⊠pretty obvious something is wrong. I donât see anything moving on the leaves.. any ideas? Itâs been fine since I got it in January and living in the same spot..issue started a couple weeks ago.
I have a love-hate relationship with this thing. One day she looks gorgeous the next day all the leaves have edema and are falling off. Had some water retention issues, so I finally swapped out her soil and now im doing a little experiment to see if she prefers Hydro or soil.
My guy is just. Losing leaves đ . There were a few that were obviously dying so I pulled those off and it took no effort at all to pull the leaf off, so I went around checking the other leaves and the ones still on are the ones firmly still on the stem, but the rest came off so ridiculously easy Iâm worried something is wrong đ my zebra plant already died and I donât want another one of my plant babies to die đ„ș also, this guy doesnât have a name yet so if yâall have idea lemme know đ„°
My Brasil has a few vines with upper areas turning brown, but the leaves look fine and thereâs new growth coming in. None of the lower parts of any vines look this way. Wondering if I should be concerned. Iâm using a well draining soil and I am careful not to water too often. Iâm also using a small grow light to supplement because the brightest window in my apartment is northeast facing with a long overhang and another building blocking a lot of light. The plant seems healthy otherwise, I just think itâs weird that a few parts of the vine are browning and thatâs it. Note- Youâll see some white spots on the leaves because I have been treating it with a baking soda spray for powdery mildew once a week for a couple weeks, and using a low speed fan for a few minutes to make sure the leaves dry after treating. Iâm pretty sure at this point the white spots are the baking soda and not the mildew, but I wonât really know until I do another 2 treatments. It seems to be improving overall, but if Iâm causing a problem I want to adjust before I hurt my philo further.
Must... remain... calm... đ«šđ
Got yet another one!! Welcome, Riođ
Pest problem! I donât know what these pests are, I canât seem to identify them. Iâve tried the classic home-made recipe of water and vinegar but no luck. I donât want it add soil or fertiliser until itâs solved. Planta only allows me to upload photos, so I tried my best. I have. Great video of them crawling but I canât post that unfortunately. But they look almost silver and oblong. I think they fly? Iâm not sure. I usually see them crawling around the pot in the soil. Anyone who can identify them and help get rid of them, please advise!
Repotted the mother plant of my silver sword philo. I went from a nursery pot to an 8 inch pot. The soil is a mix of indoor, orchid and perlite. Since the repotting, all the leaves have curled in and it looks super sad. Plants says itâs under watered? Thoughts? TIA.
Love my philodendron leavesâ€ïžalways exciting to see the new ones
Help me take care of her!!!
Just switched Miss Mitzi from a mostly-mulch soil to a more nutrient-rich fern fiber blend. I hope to see her perk up soon.
How would I propagate this? I had cutting that isnât doing well. I planted in a well draping soil pearlite mix. Thereâs been no growth and 2 leaves fell. Any advices for propagating something like this?
Adding âBlack Goldâ to the collection!
