Take this as a reminder to not give up on your silver sword philodendron! She’s been sad for months and I’ve tried EVERYTHING (different light, water type, water frequency, water amount, misting, temperature, humidity, repotting). I was so close to declaring her a lost cause, but what do ya know one day she woke up no longer looking depressed and I couldn’t be happier.
Update on my pink princess after chopping her in half 5 months ago. One of the top cutting vines continues to grow wildly and is back up to 5.5ft tall from the 3ft she was after I made the cut. The bottom “chopped” vines have pushed out two and five new growth points each and have grown about 1ft taller. The photos show her now, what she looked like right after I cut her in half and repotted the top pole in with the bottom, and some of the new growth points.
I finally got a white princess, traded two plants for one that turned into 6!!!

I was given this philodendron brasil and it was viciously murdered. Suspect attached. I propagated as much as I could and replanted in same pot. Do we think it looks like it might survive?

I have quite a few philodendrons and have never seen growth like this. I recently got this philodendron ring of fire and this is its first growth with me, so I’m not sure if it’s normal. Is this a flower or is this shape normal leaf growth? It does seem to have a stem under the bulb inside the petiole sheath but I’m not sure if it could still be a flower? Google images aren’t helping me so I wanted to see if anyone recognizes this and if you recommend removing it
Hello! I was wondering if anyone could help me ID this plant I got back in September. It came free with a pothos I bought and was in pretty rough shape originally, but its perked up a smidge and seems to be growing a new leaf. I'm pretty sure it's a philodendron, but I'm not sure what specifically. Any help is appreciated! :D
She’s growing so well. Most leaves are facing forward and have her on a stick. She’s just a baby lol
I got this at Amazon because Autumn and Winter are colder here than summer when my plants grow more because are tropical. Specially my princess philodendron, elephsnt ear, suculents and aloe. Is this. A good idea? I don’t want my plants to overheat in winter. I don’t have a garden just a porch were I have my plants outside.

Hello fellow Philodendron Fam. I've had a Variegated Billietiae for almost a year now. From what I am reading, they are generally a fast growing Philodendron. I received mine as a lightly rooted chonk with one leaf and another leaf that was getting ready to unfurl and since then has only grown two additional leaves with the third growing now. I have it under a grow light and it also gets very little direct early morning light, planted in a soil mix that I have all of my soil plants in, ambient humidity ranges from about 45% (rarely that low) to about 70%. Are there any tips or tricks that someone might have about something I might be missing? I'm not a huge advocate for semi hydro in the sense of me having all of my plants in it but as I encounter issues is when I usually try the semi hydro route. "If" I went in that direction, would leca or pon be better for this particular plant?

Quick backstory, I had this plant sitting in front of my front door and a little iguana decided to eat her. Left me with one leaf. I have attachment issues so I didn’t wanna get rid of the plant. I just put her on my back porch. three days later, I come out to do my morning check and I see this little fella. She still has more life to live 🥹 I’m a fairly new plant Mom so I still get excited about things like this. I can’t wait to see how she bounces back.

Hello I was given this plant by my boss since at work she couldn’t take care of it. It has perked up a little bit and I’m just don’t want it to die any suggestions also is it healthy? I think it is.
I’ve heard about philodendron birkin reverting to philodendron red Congo but I think mine is starting to do it. I got this plant about 3 months ago off Etsy and it has adjusted great and has grown about 5 new leaves. It is in a 8 inch pot and is a pretty big philodendron birkin. I researched it a little and apparently the two main causes are lack of light and age. It has a spot next to a window so it’s getting a good ambit of light although now that it is getting colder there is a little less light but still a good amount. It also might be age becuase it seems to be pretty old but I’m not exactly sure how old. I don’t really mind that it is reverting, it is kind of cool I just want to know why it is happening and if anyone else has been though this with their birkin.
