My newest plant. Got myself a mother’s day gift. I never post on social media. But I just started enjoying plants in my 50s and I’ve so enjoyed seeing everyone else’s plants in this app. Thought someone else might enjoy seeing this beauty :)

My philo birkin has been putting out multiple all-white leaves in a row that I have since cut. I’ve heard you can cut the main stem to reset, but this makes me nervous. I’ve just been snipping the leaves off as they come out. I’ve tried all different lights and am at a loss. Any recommendations?

I am on vacation and went to a nursery because that’s is what we do! I got some great plants but 2 that are not labeled…I would love some help to ID and reassure myself on what they are. Thank you for all your help there is only 2 and you need more pictures please let me know 🙂

How do I get my pink princess philodendron to grow? Aside from fertilizer?? She is a year and a half old and she has not grown at all🥴.

I need to chop/prob my white princess and Im scared to death to loose her! Ive been putting it off for a while. I do not want to just extend the pole, as shes leggy in the middle (before i put on a pole). Shes now 4 1/2 feet tall. Ive not ever made a chop this big before!! Please help me with the best way to go about this. Where to cut? Water prop? Moss/perlite? Im so nervous about this one!

I have an update to the battle of everyone doing everything everywhere all at once. The big leaf got injured because the new one coming out next to it was impatient and bruised it up. The leaf BELOW them is getting ready to split so another one can pop out. And the base of the root system is down there building its own colony.

Moss pole extension arrives tomorrow.

Paprika’s stems are finally releasing the new leaves, with a little help. Look at this gorgeous first one. This took literally months but it is so worth the wait. It looks like there will be three more, can’t wait…

What could cause these spots on my birkin? I’ve had this plant for years and haven’t made any care changes recently except for adding a moss pole to the pot to help support the plant. Thanks in advance!
