So I really think I got my velvet philos mixed up when I bought them as babies. Or they werenât sold correctly identified. This is supposedly my melanochrysum but his leaves arenât looking as elongated to me but more rounded. Does this look more like a glorious? Maybe thatâs why she doesnât root into the moss pole as well because she wants to crawl?? Any thoughts are appreciated!!

OK, this guyâs been through the ringer. Last fall he had mealy bugs and I had to prune aggressively and treat and I seemed to get that under control. Recently, he and my dog had a full on collision and broke one of the main stems. I pruned again and set him up with a plant stake and now he has decided to come back to life! I am counting seven new leaves between the two main stems. Crazy!
