So I really think I got my velvet philos mixed up when I bought them as babies. Or they weren’t sold correctly identified. This is supposedly my melanochrysum but his leaves aren’t looking as elongated to me but more rounded. Does this look more like a glorious? Maybe that’s why she doesn’t root into the moss pole as well because she wants to crawl?? Any thoughts are appreciated!!

Philodendron or Pothos? That is the question…I took this cutting from a wild growing plant with HUGE leaves. Blank business card for scale.

Is this normal/ok for my philodendron to have drops of water on leaves after I water it?

I need help identifying the brown spots on this philo. It’s been spreading. Maybe rust? Thank you!

OK, this guy’s been through the ringer. Last fall he had mealy bugs and I had to prune aggressively and treat and I seemed to get that under control. Recently, he and my dog had a full on collision and broke one of the main stems. I pruned again and set him up with a plant stake and now he has decided to come back to life! I am counting seven new leaves between the two main stems. Crazy!

Any ideas on who this could be? Just marked as “philodendron”!

Looking for advice on my Ring of Fire. When I got her back in June she had bright orange variegation. It has since settled into more of a lime green. Am I doing something wrong? 😭 she’s under a grow light set to 12hrs, and gets watered and fertilized regularly. I’ve also noticed her new little ‘flames’ (leaves)dry out really easily, so I’m wondering if she’s just too close to the light?

Baby philodendron white wizard I separated from the mother plant 🌱. I gifted to my girlfriend she likes plants too 😂.

I picked up both a Golden Crocodile and a Ring of Fire on clearance recently and decided they belonged together. Has anyone else done this? I know it’s going to get big(ger) but in the interest of saving space I thought one large plant might be better than 2! They are also on a wide moss pole so they can hopefully climb too!

My beautiful Strawberry Caramel Marble philo, Carmela (TC) is only three weeks old. So far so good. She’s just about ready for the dome to come off permanently. 🥰🥰

Looking for advice! I just got this absolute STUNNER at a plant convention. Philodendron melanochrysum. I typically stick with my standard chunky bark/perlite/soil/charcoal mix but wondering if I should explore any other mediums to give this guy a perfect home. I’ll probably go with a cedar plank for support for now. Thoughts?

Looking for advice! My "malay gold" philo is getting so tall but only has one heading growth point. I've seen mixed guidance online whether it's wise to chop it. I don't want to hurt it but feel like chopping is the only option. Can anyone confirm these do well with a hack?
This is about 4ft tall.
