Hey guys! I have a Philo Prince of Orange that I have a question about. Last summer some of her leaves didn't unfurl well, I think due to needing to be fertilized. Should I trim those older, scrunched up leaves? Or should I leave them?

My pink princess gave me this really dark red leaf. It’s been open for a couple weeks now and isn’t getting any lighter. Is it normal or a bad sign?

How bad of an idea is it to plant a few different philos or a maranta in the same planter? I just got a long horizontal one and am trying to think of how to best utilize the space. I suppose the maranta would fill out!

This sweet Philo was looking great for its first few months. Now the leaves are all curled up. Not sure what's going on. It's well watered and misted. But I water from the bottom to help with keeping away bugs from the top. So maybe I need to start watering from the top. There are some baby leaves growing. Any advice would be hugely appreciated!

Philodendron Ring of Fire! I waited forever for these to start showing up locally and I lucked out about 6 months ago. There are multiple plants in the pot, but one in particular has a very orange tint to it, and recently it spit out a fully orange 1/2 leaf! The other plants in the pot are more light green/dark green dominant. I think I actually prefer the green-green 🪴 🤔 🧡 💚 🤣

As far as I know this is a McColley’s Finale. It looked the same amount of unwell when I bought it. I removed a bad off leaf, put some worm castings on the soil and bottom watered it with a water/superthrive mix. It’s not looking any better or worse imo, but it’s growing a new leaf. The soil isn’t retaining water, it’s not root bound and I see not pests. What should I do to perk this little one up? Or should I leave it be? Surely they don’t always look like this.

My Paraiso Verde - Perry - has grown so much from a tiny starter in May to now. I have never used a moss pole and I know it will eventually need one. But, when do I know it's time to add it? He's still upright, one leaf is over 6" and 3 others are over 4" and there are at least 2 more budding. I see nubs for aerial roots starting to form. He's not ready for repotting. Do I repot anyway and make room for the moss pole? Or just wait a little longer? I'm open to any advice or insights. Thanks.

Hi! It’s my first post here. The leaves on my billitiae looked a littler bit scorched and dry, so I moved it to a little bit less sunny space. Unfortunately I think it got even more sun in its new spot, and these spots developed on two of the leaves. Every other leaf is fine though, so I’m wondering: Is it a light issue? My planta dr suggests either light or a watering issue, but wouldn’t more leaves be affected if it was a watering issue? Thanks! Gabriel

I saved this lil gal a while back. She had maybe 3 leaves and very weak stem. I’m guessing she needs more light? I had zero clue on them, same as all of my plants lol but after seeing how leggy she has gotten, I’m not sure she’s supposed to look like a vine lol She’s in partial afternoon/evening sun. Watered just before taking these pics. She pulls the moss pole over with her wild growing ways. I’m not sure I can pin her to it anymore, or what I should do with the roots showing? Will she attach to a trellis of some sort?
