Why is my Philo Red so leggy? How can I get it to grow more full?
HELP!! Philodendron fungus gnat infestation‼️ Repotted with fresh soil about a month ago, after noticing it already had gnats but roots were coming out of the bottom of the pot. I’m not sure what to do, it’s a very sensitive plant and I’ve only had it about a month 1/2. What should I do?!!
Atleast my Birkin loves me 🤍
Love when my PPP gives me these half moons🥰
a while back i made a post about a philo i repotted ! it had a total of 12 different actual plants in the pot so i separated them. they are doing AMAZING 5 of them have new growth already. very exciting to see. im so proud of my plants ☺️
I just purchased this pwp a couple weeks ago and we’re getting some yellowing leaves. I love this girl and don’t want to lose her. What an i doing wrong?
hi guys! just repotted a clearance PWP and i found this baby, any advice on how should i grow her? i’ve never propagated/grown a super teeny plant before but i want to grow her and gift to a friend
Has anyone had this happen? I’ve had this Brasil for about a month now. It has grown a bit, and has some new healthy growth still coming in, but these two spots where it looks like it wanted to push out new leaves turned brown and haven’t done anything, which I find odd and I’ve never had this happen to any of my other philodendrons before. Should I trim them off? Trim off a bit higher and try to propagate? Leave it alone and see if it eventually turns into new leaves? Not sure what I should do about it especially since other areas of it are healthy and still growing.
I just re potted this new plant since I bought it a week ago. Any tips on caring for this certain plant?
What fertilizer do y’all use for your philodendrons? My Prince of Orange, Pink Princess, and Black Gold/melanochrysum have been slow growers. Not sure if my plant lights and an eastern-facing window is sufficient enough. Suggestions? ☺️
my local shop had a grab bag of baby philos and i just couldn’t resist!
App ID says Philodendron of some type, I literally just picked this up from the store as it caught my eye- how do I help care for this guy? I’ve never seen the top layer of leaf peel off like paint before
Helllppp! Does anyone know how best to tame my Birkin? Do they grow like this orrr? 🥴
This is one of my pride propagations. My White Princess Philodendron. Originally there were two solid white leaves and the one half and half. She seems to be holding steady in the soil but the two white leaves are wilted and brownish. They aren’t hard or brittle. She isn’t in direct light and there is actually a new white leaf sprouted. Someone else told me that it’s normal for the all white leaves to do that as they are much more delicate and do not absorb the nutrients from light sources the way green leaves do. Thoughts? I don’t want to lose her. She is one of my favorites.
Still learning a little about this plant and am wondering what these little bumps are and if they’re normal?
my white wizard philodendron is outgrowing its small wooden stake and i need ideas for how to support it. i like the idea of self-watering moss poles, but are they worth the investment? thanks in advance!
Hiii I’m new here😇 Just wanted to show some of my favorite babies! Philodendrons have stolen my ❤️! They are very loving, and pretty easy from my experience! There are so many varieties, and they are all amazing! 1: Tricolor White Princess Philodendron 2: P. Squami 3: Pink Princess Philodendron (😍) 4: P. Burle Marx 5: P. Jose Buono 6: P. Paraiso Verde
I started her from a cutting! My first ever philodendron. So exciting to see how far she’s come!
I lucked up and found a white princess philodendron in a batch of regular white knight… I also picked up a white knight and a pink princess … I repotted it after a couple days of quartile from my other plants there were three baby’s in it so I separated them from the big plant. The main plant also had a mesh /death plug around the roots. I removed that … I’m using a chunky mix and and they live infront of my grow light I also have a humidifier close but the baby plants don’t seem to be looking to healthy … Does anyone have any suggestions should I put them in a prop box till the roots grow a little more .. Also the mother plant new leaf came out brown I’m assuming because I repotted while it was pushing it out I plan on chopping that leaf and hoping for healthy new growth … Anyone have suggestions or experience with this???? ALSO any of the plants purchased from the costa farm or exotic plants from big box stores have the mesh around the roots aka death plug !! Definitely repot!!
This handsome fella arrived on the scene today 😎
