Plant ID help please! I think this is Alocasia cucullata but someone thought it might be philodendron gloriosum.
Hello I was wondering if someone could help me ID this plant? The app tells me itâs a PPP but then Iâve been told itâs a White Knight but then also told a Red Andersen so now Iâm totally confused. I have 2 PPP and this one donât look like them.
Really struggling with my pink princess. Iâve had her since June and sheâs pushed out 1.5 leaves. Is it normal for new PPP leaves to take 1-2 months and look like this? Itâs like sheâs stuck and Iâm not sure if thereâs anything I can do. My other philodendrons donât have this problem :(
So my Philo Melanchrysum was producing a dead leaf, I carefully removed it, may have been a mistake, this is that growth point now. Is it possible it might be ok? Giving lots of humidity as always.
Philodendron Prince of Orange. My love for Philos has really sneaked up on me đ. I suddenly realize I have a few of them.
My white wizard is thriving!! Wish I could say the same for my Pink Princess, I have moved her over to water, and finally look to have new growth though!!
ObSESSED đ
Should I chop my PPP?
Has anyone here made a DIY moss pole? i have several philos that i would love to see climb, but right now theyâre trailing across the wall with the help of command hooks :)
One of my newer babies, Iâm obsessed with her. So close to unveiling her new leaf!
Iâve been giving my white knight plenty of indirect light and his two new leaves have red in them đ„°
my partner surprised me with a pink princess for our six month anniversary đđđ he even got a pink pot to go with it. you can imagine the scream that came out of me. iâve been staring at her obsessively. i love her. if anyone w pink princess experience has any âthings i wish i knew when i got my first pppâ tips, please let me know! iâm so excited!!!
Iâm having a hard time propagating my newest clipping, a friend of mine gave me a beautiful clipping of her pink princess & itâs been a month nearly yet it still hasnât started rooting. This is the first time Iâve ever had this problem so Iâm unsure what to do đ Iâve wanted to add this beauty to my collection for YEARS! I have a white wizard, golden goddess & prince of orange that id love to add her next to all suggestions are welcome!! This is a pic from this morning
I repotted my Pink Princess back in April and ever since it seems to be going down. Iâm not sure what to do with it? Do I repot it again and try to make better drainage or should I trim it down? I also feel like it might be losing itâs pink, it is 2 1/2 yrs. Itâs growing some babies that seem to be doing good.
Hi! New to owning a philodendron and was wondering if the brown spots on the stems should be a concern?
I thought it was cool the first time I caught my princess âcryingâ; when a few drips of water come out the tips of her leaves. Sheâs relatively new, and Iâm still learning. What wasnât cool was finding her overloaded with water exploding out the side of her leaves rupturing the cells Iâm sure and the leaf turns to mush. Obviously I gave her too much to drink.. but Iâm wondering how dry do I let her go? My hygrometer hit at a 3 when planta told me to water, itâs the highest âdryâ rating you can get before itâs moist. I decided, sure sounds good.. and here we are.
Finally got my hands on a pink princess baby đ„č this past Sunday August the 27th , but i donât know if i like the soil, it looks very compact and the new growth looks a little yellow đ. Should i repot now? Or wait a little? Thanks in advance đ«¶đ»
