Yāall, she has been through it but isnāt giving up yet. I think the reason all her leaves died was because I neglected her too much with watering needs, but Iām so happy with just one leaf.

My āPink Princess Philodendronā has been propagating for just under a month (28 days to be exact), and so far iāve seen no progression. Like not even the slighted change in the nodes at all. Iām starting to lose hope that it will even grow roots. Is this normal? š„²

Just got this Florida Green and Silver Sword today! Looking for any and all advice on either, mostly to include soil mixtures. I have a Thai Con that I got extremely small and is THRIVING where it is by my glass doors with chunky soil and a sphagnum moss pole AND good fertilizer. I pretty much plan to do the same with these but am sure thereās more to know about them! Thanks!šŖ“

Anyone have advice on whether or not I should get rid of these little leaves down at the bottom of my PPP? I recently got into philodendrons and not sure if pruning these little guys will shock the plant? I want the plant to focus on growing upward instead of outward.

My Silver Stripe philodendron put out a couple of odd leaves. One looks like a comma. The other leaf has a color split down the middle vein. Is this common?

So I just rescued this PPP from walmart. It had a lot more leaves but they were dry and brown so I pruned them. The remaining leaves are green, except for one tiny one that has some slight pink variegation. Iāve been misting and giving it 6 hours under a grow light daily. What should I do to encourage more pink variegation? (Also peep the new leaf sprouting from the main shoot)!

This philodendron came in rough shape from home depot but I wanted the pure pink leaf thatās coming in, thats also in bad shape. Someone suggested that I put the entire plant in water instead of soil. I know thatās possible for propagation, but Iām not sure about a plant thatās already been potted in soil. Thoughts?

My Burle Marx Fantasy is turning a bit yellow. I just repotted it last week into well draining soil and watered it. HELP. I donāt know whatās wrong with it. Anyone know? or is it just cranky?

I visited the botanic gardens last week and found this beautiful philodendron. There was other plants around it so I was not sure which one it is? Does any recognize it?

My new PPPās leaf is starting to yellow, I have her in a south facing window, I repotted her into something a little taller but not wider today. Any suggestions? I got from someone on one of the local mom groups a few days ago and am trying to rehab her.

Recently received this P. Brasil as a water propagation gift from a friend. I was so scared to put it into soil and accidentally kill the plant. Woke up this morning to a new leaf about to unfurl š„¹ I guess Iām doing something right!

Please help! The majority of my plants are thriving but I cannot for the life of me revive my poor philodendron. He used to be full of leaves but now he is bare and has some browning and yellowing of leaves. I posted before and after pictures. The newer leaves look nice and green! Am I overwatering or underwatering? How often do philodendrons normally need watering? I did recently buy a water meter. Should I wait until the soil is completely dry?
