New plant alert 🥹 finally got my Brasil couldn’t be more happy

Any thoughts on this development? It had put out 5 huge florescence with each of the last huge leaves. I would cut them off to promote leaf growth. Now that they stopped coming, the leaves have gotten smaller but I have no idea what this is. It isn’t anything like how the previous leaves came out.

I am so proud of Phoebe! She was one of the first plants I bought when my journey started (believe it or not four years ago!). I just kept trying to kill here and she refused to die. 😂 I have finally gained enough wisdom to help her thrive and she is finally starting to grow beautifully! 🥰🥰 Definitely one of my favorites but do you all find that those plants that you’ve gone through the most heartache with tend to end up your favs? Funny how that happens even with people relationships! 💚💚

my pink princess has turned a dark green and had not put out any variegation in over a year. The newest leaf is a very dark pink variegation and I love it!

Watering day for Sophia 🥰🥰💚💚

Hi guys! I’ve had this babe since September and she has gotten very long and is very healthy. I added some propagations at some point to make it fuller but they just aren’t growing as fast as the main stem. It’s put out only 2 leaves since October and they are significantly smaller than the main stem too. Do I need to separate? Or maybe go up a pot size? I have not repotted since I added the propagations and I don’t really remember how the roots were (this was my first plant baby). I’m only hesitant to disturb and look at the roots because the main stem is thriving so well.

Variegated burle marxs started putting out all white leaves so I cut it to promote green growth. The new shoot sprouted out the white side of the stem and is an all white sprout! 🙄 Any recommendations on what I should do next?

hey! my philodendron micans has stayed a little moist since i watered it 9 days ago. i keep it maybe about 4 feet from my south facing window, this is what the roots look like. does this look like root rot or is it their normal color? it’s been very stormy where i live recently so there hasn’t been as much light as usual. it has a smell but i can’t rly tell if it’s like a bad smell or just what moist dirt / plant smells like. new to all of this and traumatized by my pothos dying of root rot, idk if i’m just being paranoid haha.

Hello I attempted to propagate my velvet leaf philodendron and had very slow success over the course of of four months granted it was in the winter. Would that be why it was so slow with a couple and none with others? Also is there anything I can do to help the process aside from water changes ofc? Thank you for all the advice in advance!

Hi guys! I rescued this white princess philodendron from Walmart almost 2 months ago and am still having trouble with browning spots. This was my first plant requiring more attention (I only had pothos and pepperomias prior lol) She lives near a humidifier and doesn’t have direct sunlight to scorch her leaves - I’ve been consistent with watering when the top 1-2 inches of soil are dry. And I’m building her a moss pole this weekend I swear. Any help with the brown spots would be so greatly appreciated!!!
