Looking for advice on my Ring of Fire. When I got her back in June she had bright orange variegation. It has since settled into more of a lime green. Am I doing something wrong? 😭 she’s under a grow light set to 12hrs, and gets watered and fertilized regularly. I’ve also noticed her new little ‘flames’ (leaves)dry out really easily, so I’m wondering if she’s just too close to the light?

I picked up both a Golden Crocodile and a Ring of Fire on clearance recently and decided they belonged together. Has anyone else done this? I know it’s going to get big(ger) but in the interest of saving space I thought one large plant might be better than 2! They are also on a wide moss pole so they can hopefully climb too!

Looking for advice! I just got this absolute STUNNER at a plant convention. Philodendron melanochrysum. I typically stick with my standard chunky bark/perlite/soil/charcoal mix but wondering if I should explore any other mediums to give this guy a perfect home. I’ll probably go with a cedar plank for support for now. Thoughts?
Looking for advice! My "malay gold" philo is getting so tall but only has one heading growth point. I've seen mixed guidance online whether it's wise to chop it. I don't want to hurt it but feel like chopping is the only option. Can anyone confirm these do well with a hack? This is about 4ft tall.

Any tips for dealing with Gloria here? She’s growing sideways and just threw a HUGE leaf, and with the new weight she’s toppling over. I clearly need to re-pot her - any way I can get her upright without breaking her?!

Any suggestion for my Pink Princess? I'm having a hard time saying goodbye 🥺 I brought her along from an interstate move and she isn't adjusting to well, she was once happy and healthy. Just recently repotted her & moved her to bedroom, should I just say bye? Please advise
My lil pink princess has been working on a new leaf for a couple days now. Today it’s new leaf that hasn’t even got off the cataphyll is currently making its own new leaf as well. Not sure if it’s going to make either leaf full size since it’s working on two now. This happen for anybody else?
My rescued golden crocodile I've had in rehab for months developed a massive lump. I had no clue what was going on. A leaf emerged from the bump. I finally had time this morning to investigate. Pulling away the sheath layers uncovered at least 5 other leaves, stuck, tangled, and messed up inside. Poor thing was even trying to push out aerial roots. It's now "free" to start to growing into a beautiful philo. 😍

My plant lady ( I found her on FB marketplace & she lives close enough) gifted this little guy to me a few weeks ago. After weeks of growth light therapy, I have a LEAF! This is a Philodendron Rio. Also my first time ever growing a plant this ways. Which makes me think I can take on cultures. 🫣 Anything be else dabble in cultures? How’s the experience?
