Hi! I just got a couple new philodendrons today and need some help identifying them! This app keeps telling me they’re Chinese evergreens but I know they aren’t. The label on one said green Congo but ChatGPT said it wasn’t (although taking that with a grain on salt…) so I would love some help!
Just bought a few new plants 🪴 care tips are welcome and encouraged! Painted Lady Prince of Orange Moonlight I wasn’t planning on buying anything but couldn’t pass up the clearance price.
What is causing the edges to brown? In zone 7 for reference Thought too much sun so I just moved Phil from sitting 1ft from a south facing window. To 10 ft from south and 4ft from east. Advice appreciated.
Hi! I have this Philodendron White Wizard and most of its leaves are pretty green but these few leaves are SUPER white and I wanted to propagate them to make a more-white plant! Does anyone have any tips on where I should cut if I want to grow a more white plant (like those few leaves)? - i included a picture of the whole stem (it got slightly cropped - need to click it to see the whole image!!) Also I was going to prop it in a glass of water instead of moss :)

My white wizard is in the process of unfurling a new leaf and I’m practically feral waiting to see what it looks like. The last new leaf was less than a month ago and has a lovely mint stripe on it. 🥰
I have a choco empress that is growing very well. When I bought it, for some reason I didn’t think it was a climbing plant. I just found out that it is and can grow very large. What type of support is best-a moss pole or would a fancy wood plank trellis be ok? The moss pole I need to make, but I have a couple trellis from Treleaf.

Is this a philodendren? If so, what kind? I left it for dead (trying to save it for a coworker) then discovered today it's been thriving off only rainwater. But what IS IT?

Love seeing the leaves get more defined as it grows! Also, that little spot on the second newest leaf....what is that? There's no bugs on the her. Could it be from being closest to the grow light? Should I get that leaf off there?
