What can I do for this baby to prevent the white from turning transparent? The leaf that’s really bad was when it was directly under the light, since then I’ve moved it away & the others seem to be okay but I feel like they could be better. These leaves were all there when I got the plant which was being grown in a greenhouse so could it also be the difference in environment?

Got this white princess at Walmart! Any ideas on how to save her. I just repotted and removed some of the really bad leaves.

I didn’t realize philos were climbers 🧐 should I be giving my red ruby a support? She’s getting pretty big and splaying out. (Hand for size ref)

Hi everyone, I love my PPP and she’s putting out new leaves quite frequently. However, they’re getting smaller and smaller and less variegated. Can anyone help? She’s not growing roots out of the drainage holes and she’s in a west facing window with sunlight at the end of the day (gradually more each day as we come in to spring). I love her and want her to do well so any guidance will be appreciated. Thank you x

Hi everyone! My white princess was my first ever plant but she’s doing a bit rough. I would be devastated to lose her. Does anyone know what I could do different to perhaps make her happier? She has new growth but loses it quickly. She’s in indirect light and about 3 weeks ago I replanted her.

My Jose Buono has just one leaf that seems to be having an issue. I know it will not get better, but should I leave it or chop it? It’s not a lower leaf or wouldn’t even be asking. I would have just chopped it. If I do chop it off, will a new leaf grow in its place?

I’m looking for some advice for my Ring of Fire. To preface this plant has been repotted, fertilizer, grow light, window, and scoured/treated for any pests over the last year i’ve had it. I bought it with more leaves and i actually trimmed off some older leaves to even out the root to leaf ratio. i’ve had no growth at all. i don’t know what the thing in the middle is because it’s not a leaf. it won’t grow and it doesn’t shed any old material. it used to be more red but it’s slowly been fading. i added a humidifier right next to it to help loosen just in case it is a leaf but nothing. i don’t want to get rid of it but i also don’t know what else to do. Thank you for reading 🫶🏼🩷 *this picture is from about a week ago but of course, no change*

My pink princess was a rescue, she may be reverted… but I felt like she looked so weighed down so I repotted her today. Her roots look fine thankfully but it was heavy potting soil. The app suggested sphagnum moss, so I’m going to give that a go. She’s in a terracotta pot. Anybody gone this route? Yay/nay? Her new leaf looks pretty pink… 🤞🏻

Anyone who has a philodendron mayoi: please give me some care tips? I got this one a week ago and it’s starting to get weird, I moved it to a brighter spot to see if that will do the trick. Anyway…any advice?

Curious if anybody has had this happen to them or know what it is. My white wizard seems to have these transparent parts on its green leaves where the chlorophyll is just no existent in those areas (it appears as yellow spots but they are semi transparent). No signs of pest and the new leaves come out with these spots already on them. Is it edema? Kind of at a loss, but it doesn’t seem to affect the plants health, just curious what is causing it.

Anyone know why the tip of this philodendron Congo turned brown? It was in the indoor patio against the wall so maybe sunburnt? I moved it indoors so it gets less direct light. It’s growing all over but I don’t know why two tips turned brown. Should I cut them?

Is this an aerial root starting? I made sure it wasn’t a bug first :)

Help! This triostar keeps getting crispy ends, she’s still growing. I water her when she’s 2/3 of the way dry, with reverse osmosis water. She is one a window sill that gets bright indirect morning light. It is pretty low humidity though. Thanks guys!
