Just completed another chop and prop of P. splendid. First pic is June 2024 when it arrived, second is the bottom leaf pre-chop next to the newest leaf, which measures 17â. Honestly doesnât even slow down in winter; easily my favorite philo. Biggest con is that it has long internodal spacing so it needs chop and extends every 3-4 months, but Iâd way rather that than a super slow grower any day.
LOVE philodendrons! I just repotted my burle Marx last week and I went to check on it todayâ one of its roots has already found the bottom of the pot and is sticking out! They really donât slow down once theyâre happy âșïžâșïž
