Hello all. Could someone help me to measure the right amount of needed water for my philodendron based on the size of the pot and/or the plant and/or other factors? Unfortunately, my pot does not have a drainage hole.

id say like 2/3 like waterbottles like tervis tumber kinda stuff but do like 1 at a time and wait to see how fast the water dampens. its also terracotta so sometimes the pot like darkens when uts moist
0 gillningarIt’s a beautiful plant. I recommend drilling a drain hole or repotting. A diamond tipped masonry drill bit is effective on terracotta. There is a strong chance of root rot when the roots sit in water because the plant cannot use up the excess water the same day without drain holes. Drain holes allow water to freely flow and saturate all of the soil without fear of rot.
2 gillningarThis is great advice… I’d say go for it! Get a drill, or have somebody drill holes in the bottom of your terra-cotta pot, and I know your Plant will be much happier!

0 gillningarThank you all for your advises. I will drill a hole.
0 gillningarGet a better pot with drainage holes. Get you a soil moisture meter to check all your plants before watering. I also decided to switch mine to a self watering pot which helped me drastically
